They are a safe and mercury-free option suitable for both freshwater and saltwater fish tanks. Mercury-Free: These thermometers are mercury-free, ensuring the safety of your aquatic environment. Proper Placement: To ensure accurate temperature readings, it's essential to place the thermometer vertically inside your fish tank. This orientation allows the colored liquid inside to pool at the bottom, providing an accurate temperature reading. If any settling of the liquid occurred during delivery, it will return to the bulb once the thermometer is positioned vertically.
