Due to this distance from the glass pane, the Care Magnet significantly reduces the risk of glass damage. The two plastic blades remove the algae considerably better from the glass panes than a flat cleaning surface – almost as good as a sharp metal blade. The life of a blade is from several months up to approx. one year. The low flow resistance during the cleaning with a simultaneous high magnetic coupling, makes a separation of the magnet nearly impossible.

The large blade should only be modified with the included stainless steel blade for aquarium glass panes with particularly tough algae, e.g. older deposits on the side walls or thick calcareous algae.

We expressly do NOT recommend using the Care Magnet on ACRYLIC! If you still want to try it at your own risk, 1.) use only the short blades, as they are gentler, 2.) do NOT use the Care Booster on the outside, as the natural felt is gentler and 3.) pay close attention to the purity of the felt, as adhering particles can cause scratches.

Important note regarding application: The Care Magnet is designed to reduce the risk of scratches on the aquarium glass by providing distance from the glass surface and using special blade materials. Nevertheless, scratches can occur due to adhering particles such as sand or dust. Please ensure before each use that both the contact surfaces of the cleaner and the glass are completely free of contaminant objects. The manufacturer is not liable for damages caused by contaminated surfaces or improper use.

Thanks to its slim design, the plants and the corals will not be disturbed.

Plastic blades with round edges enable a smooth transition to the next pane at the aquarium edges without damaging the silicone joints.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1010/6293/4824/files/0220.006_1920x1920_084dfcb9-82a5-49b7-8a4a-4a4f3558e575.jpg?v=1790888153
