Tunze ORCA Mk2 Oscillating Unit Only

Orientation and flow –

perfectly matched

The TUNZE® ORCA oscillating unit not only controls the pump's rotational movement, but also allows the flow rate to be adjusted depending on the angle of rotation. For targeted flow scenarios – powerful or gentle, depending on the orientation.

Complete system:

Oscillating unit + pump = plug & play

All from a single source: The TUNZE® ORCA oscillating unit is delivered as a fully coordinated system – including pump, mount, and app connection. Unpack, assemble, and start.

Made in Germany –

real manufacturing expertise

TUNZE® ORCA is built where we bring plastics, electronics, PU encapsulation, and system assembly together every day: in our production facility in southern Bavaria. From the electronics to the cables – many key components come directly from Germany or are manufactured in-house.

5-year warranty –

built for true long-term use

Designed for many years of operation in marine environments – including high-quality German-made drag chain cables. The warranty also applies to wear parts.

Magnetic encoder

for precise position detection

An integrated magnetic sensor precisely measures the pump's alignment. This ensures reliable alignment – without offset, without jumps, and without deviation.

Waterproof & corrosion-resistant

The electronics and control system are fully encapsulated in PU resin. All seals are securely designed. The TUNZE® ORCA oscillating unit is protected against splashes of water and temporary submersion.

Versatile mount

for glass thicknesses up to 22 mm (0.87")

The included mount is suitable for both pools and aquariums with glass ledges. Installation is tool-free, secure, and flexible.

Finely adjustable length

The carbon tube can be adjusted in fine increments without the need for tools. The high-quality carbon fiber construction allows for flexible height adjustment with high stability. Simply hold the carbon tube horizontally, press in the pin with one finger and rotate the two tubes counterclockwise against each other.

Control via TUNZE® app

The native, intuitive TUNZE® App (iOS & Android) controls all parameters. It serves as the central all-in-one platform for the entire TUNZE® system – developed by aquarists for aquarists.

Certified medical device power supply –

maximum safety

Medical device-certified power supply with high operational reliability, power reserves, and high efficiency. A strong heart for your TUNZE® ORCA.

Including Turbelle® nanostream® 6075

Flow rate of 7,500 L/h (~2,000 USgal./h) with only 8 W of power for an efficiency rate of over 937 L/h/W (250 USgal./h/W).

Premium titanium steel axle - Made from a highly durable stainless steel alloy with added titanium, specially developed for maximum corrosion resistance in salt water. This axle combines exceptional breaking strength with outstanding resistance to wear, making it ideal for long-lasting performance in demanding aquarium environments.

High efficiency 937 L/h/W (250 USgal./h/W)

7.500 l/h volume flow rate with only 8 W power consumption for an efficiency of 937 l/h/W.

High-tech cable especially for demanding aquaristics

With remarkably high abrasion resistance, seawater resistance and extreme resistance to mechanical impact. As a result, it does not harden in water like PVC cables. With an extra high-contrast intermediate cable sheathing to detect damage at an early stage.

Produced in Bavaria by MEDI Kabel.
